We acted on behalf of our client to achieve retrospective planning and listed building consent for the retention of two additional B&B / holiday let units, retention of a storage / laundry room and 3 new windows.
Optimis engaged intensively with the Planning and Conservation Officers at St Albans City & District Council and Historic England, and managed to successfully argue that the proposed changes will assist in keeping the site as a whole viable and therefore contribute towards securing the long-term conservation of the listing buildings and the site.
