Planning Permission Secured

Optimis is pleased to have secured planning permission for the delivery of two holiday lets on a site in the Huntingdonshire Area. The application related to two outbuildings that were no longer required for their previously consented use. Optimis was therefore required to demonstrate that their use for holiday lets was appropriate in the open countryside and in the context of surrounding land uses. The councils review of the application confirmed that, whilst located in the open countryside, the proposals would be acceptable in principle on the basis they comprised the conversion of buildings of substantial and permanent construction and complied with policy seeking the provision of new and expanded tourism facilities.
