Lawful Development Certificate Issued in Upper Heyford

Optimis is pleased to have received a lawful development certificate for the proposed erection of railings in Heyford Park.

The proposed development was for the erection of a 250 metre section of railings of 900mm high and which would be completed under permitted development.

Optimis successfully argued that the proposed installation of these railings would be a lawful development as it was in accordance with permitted development rights, in spite of the Council considering that these railings would be contrary to a pre-existing landscape condition. The Council ultimately agreed with this point of view and subsequently issued the certificate.
