Updated Planning Practice Guidance

New planning guidance to reflect the revised National Planning Policy Framework was issued by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government at the end of September.

Completely new guidance has been added on ‘build to rent’ and ‘plan-making’, whilst guidance on these four key areas has been updated: housing need assessment, housing and economic land availability assessment, local plans and neighbourhood planning.
