Update on Bedford Borough Council Local Plan

Bedford Borough Council’s Executive Committee unanimously agreed at last night’s meeting that the Local Plan 2030 ‘plan for submission’ can undergo public consultation. This updated plan features the removal of the Colmworth Garden Village, reduces the plan period by 5 years and commits the Council to an immediate review of the plan. The general focus of growth remains unchanged. The consultation will run from 18 September to 30 October 2018.
