The Client received local opposition to their proposal to redevelop for residential use an obsolete barn complex on the edge of Maulden village, Bedfordshire, which resulted in the planning application being refused by the Planning Committee

Optimis advised that to achieve a successful planning outcome an appeal should be submitted arguing that the scheme represented an appropriate and efficient use of the land and sustainable development. Optimis advised that a written representation appeal would be most appropriate for this case.
