Optimis secures residential planning consent in Luton with a reduction of S106 requirements

Optimis is delighted to have secured a residential planning consent in a central location within Luton and successfully negotiated a significant reduction of section 106 requests.  Working with MHA Architects, Optimis has obtained planning permission for 16 dwellings lying to the north of the central railway station last week, subject to the signing of a section 106 agreement. We were able to not only assist in creating a modern apartment scheme in a high profile location but also reduce section 106 requirements by around 40% utilising our specialist skills in viability assessment. This urban site is the first phase of a larger scheme that we will now continue to work with the Council to secure further urban regeneration.
