Optimis secures planning permission for redevelopment of a brownfield site in the Green Belt

Optimis is extremely delighted to have secured planning permission for the redevelopment of a brownfield site in the Green Belt.

Dacorum BC granted consent under delegated powers for the erection of four bungalows and two houses on a site in Markyate, which is currently used as a builders yard. The scheme also includes the demolition of the existing commercial buildings and a residential caravan.

The site falls within the definition of previously developed land, and the application successfully demonstrated that there would be no harm or impact on the openness of the Green Belt.
