Optimis assists Balfour Beatty in securing planning for 71 new residential dwellings in Rutland

Optimis Consulting is delighted to have assisted Balfour Beatty in securing a unanimous resolution to grant full planning permission for 71 new dwellings at Rutland County Council Planning Committee.

The application will deliver much needed new housing across two sites in Ketton, both of which have been carefully designed to ensure that the schemes respond to the historic environment that characterises the village. Due to the proximity of the applications, they were considered in tandem, with the 50-unit site accommodating the full 30% affordable housing provision. The scheme at Chater Field safeguards a permissive path through to the Ketton Sports and Community Centre directly north of the site.
