Morgan Taylor is promoted to Ecologist

Morgan joined Optimis in the Summer of 2024 under the Graduate Trainee Programme. He had the opportunity to rotate through 3 of our departments, specifically Planning, Strategic Land and Ecology to develop the breadth of his knowledge of the industry. The programme supported Morgan in choosing a specialism and developing his expertise. With a relevant degree in ecology, this specialism came naturally. Morgan specialised in providing Ecology and Biodiversity Services which includes Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and any further surveys for protected species such as bats, newts and reptiles. He also prepares detailed plans and metrics to inform Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
