Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government

As part of the ministerial reshuffle and the re-appointment of Rt Hon. Sajid Javid MP as the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, the department will be renamed as the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). This change in name reflects the government’s renewed focus on delivering more homes and building strong communities across England.
