Lawful Development Certificate Granted in Wellingborough

Optimis is pleased to have received a lawful development certificate for the proposed change of use from a dwelling house (Use Class C3) to a residential care home (Use Class C2) in Wellingborough.

The scheme proposed that the three-bedroom dwelling could be used as a two-bedroom residential care home, for children between the ages of 7 and 18 with learning/behavioural disabilities, without the need for planning permission.

Optimis successfully argued that the proposed change of use would not be a material, with the Council agreeing with this point of view and subsequently granting the certificate.
