Survey reveals lack of small sites a top barrier to new homes

A survey conducted by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) indicates that a lack of available small sites and finance are the main barriers to small and medium-sized (SME) housebuilders.

The survey which received 124 responses from SME firms during August 2017 revealed that accessing finance and lack of viable land as the most common obstacles to increasing output.
