Communities Secretary questions the soundness of the replacement London Plan

A lot is happening this summer: the newly appointed Communities Secretary James Brokenshire is questioning the soundness of the replacement London Plan.

Mr Brokenshire has threatened to intervene, if the Mayor fails to radically improve his London Plan, and suggested modifications. In a letter, he stressed to Rt Hon Sadiq Khan that his target to build new homes is too low and advised Mr Khan to review the draft London Plan to have regard to the revised NPPF and his strategy to significantly increase the housing delivery across London.
