Bedford Borough Council – consultation is open for pre-submission Local Plan

Bedford Borough Council has opened its consultation period for their pre-submission Local Plan. The Authority seeking to replace its out of date plans with one that promotes development until 2035. The strategy aims to provide substantial house building but with limited details on where the development will take place. The Council has set a consultation period that expires on 5th March 2018 and this gives an opportunity for residents, landowners, organisations and developers to make representations to the plan and influence the strategy for the foreseeable future.
