Volunteering with the Chiltern Rangers

Some of the team had a fun day out of the office in the fresh air and sunshine volunteering with the Chiltern Rangers.

We also collected and provided a food parcel for One Can Trust, a charity alleviating food poverty.

The day was spent clearing scrub from wildflower margins at Hampden Bottom Farm, a 450 hectare farm in the Chilterns.

Well managed scrub and its margins support a range of wildlife but left unmanaged it will turn into woodland, losing its character and value to wildlife.

The team worked hard, rewarded with a delicious picnic lunch provided by Ashpoles Tearoom, beautifully presented in a picnic basket!
